DAY 1: Norman Manley Int'l Airport to New Kingston
Upon arrival to Jamaica you will be greeted at the Norman Manley International Airport by a chauffeur bearing your name for identification purposes. Thereafter, you will enjoy a non-stop 30-40 minutes journey to the Knutsford Court Hotel, Kingston (based on availability) in our air conditioned vehicle - selected just for you because of its comfortable, spacious and relaxing environment. Take the time to unwind and relax at the Knutsford Court Hotel Having Lunch and Dinner out on the town of Kingston (subject to arrival time of guest) at one of Kingston's many Restaurants and Jerk Centre.
Day 2: Kingston Heritage Tours
Enjoy the rich heritage that Kingston has to offer, visiting Port Royal and many other locations that shows the diversity and resilience as a Jamaican people.
Activity 1: Port Royal
Duration: 4 hours
Port Royal - At the end of the Palisadoes. Port Royal was once the busiest city of the Caribbean. During the time of the Buccaneers, Port Royal was a bustling centre for trading legitimate and ill-gotten wealth. Disaster has befallen the city many times
though and it has been repeatedly ravaged by hurricanes and earthquakes. The largest of these earthquakes occurred in 1692, sending 90% of the city under water. Port Royal is now a sleepy fishing town containing crumbling run-down remnants of its former glory. Port Royal is a great place to come to relax and enjoy the laid back atmosphere of a town enjoying "the simple
life". Whilst being geographically close to Kingston it bears little similarity with the capital.
Attractions of Port Royal include many critically acclaimed fish restaurants, and Fort Charles including museum and the Giddy House.
After your activities, enjoy a delectable lunch at Port Royal at your choice of restaurants or one of the many local eateries.Activity 2: Institute of Jamaica
Duration: 1.5 Hours
The Institute of Jamaica (IOJ) was established in 1879 by Sir Anthony Musgrave, the then Governor of Jamaica to preserve the country’s tangible and intangible heritage. It is an agency of the Ministry of Youth and Culture and is located at 10-16 East Street Kingston. With its mandate, “For the Encouragement of Literature, Science and Art in Jamaica, “ the IOJ is known for establishing and managing museums and galleries for the collection, preservation and display of artefacts and art treasures as well as bringing awareness to Jamaica’s rich and diverse heritage. Enjoy this educational and fascinating array of displays highlighting the treasures of Jamaica.
Activity 3: The National Gallery
Duration: 1.5 Hours
The National Gallery of Jamaica (NGJ), which was established in 1974, is the oldest and largest public art museum in the Anglophone Caribbean. It has a comprehensive collection of early, modern and contemporary art from Jamaica along with smaller Caribbean and international holdings. A significant part of its collections is on permanent view. The NGJ also has an active exhibitions programme, which includes retrospectives of work by major Jamaican artists, thematic exhibitions, guest-curated exhibitions, touring exhibitions that originate outside of the island, and the premier national exhibition, the Jamaica Biennial. Enjoy the breath taking artistic talents of the Jamaican people.
Activity 4: Hope Gardens
Duration: 1 Hour
Take the time to relax before returning to your hotel at the Hope Gardens which was originally part of "Hope Estate". The estate was owned and run by Richard Hope a commander in the British army and was gifted the estates as a reward for helping Britain to take control of Jamaica from the Spanish. The original Hope Estate was a vast property, stretching from Newcastle (in the Blue Mountains) down to the sea. The estate was originally used as a sugar estate, however, in the late 1881, 200 acres of this property were purchased by the government to establish an experimental garden for growing foreign species. It was through the botanical gardens that several exotic species such as coffee and pineapple were introduced to Jamaica. This experimental garden became what is now known as Hope Gardens.

Day 3 : "Lively up yourself"
Have an early start but breath taking none the less with breakfast in the Blue-Mountains.

Taste all the richness of our island’s multi-cultural heritage in Strawberry Hill Restaurant’s succulent New Jamaican cuisine. Sip a sublime tropical fruit cocktail on our welcoming wraparound veranda, a taste as uplifting as the stunning mountain views. Or let the gracious “Old Plantation” ambiance of our Dining Room enhance your repast as you dally over a slice of warm bread pudding with a dash of Blackwell’s Rum, accompanied by a cup of Blue Mountain coffee, grown not a mile away. A true Jamaican breakfast is a joy, with legacy fare such as ackee and saltfish, and our own special spin on eggs Florentines, made with callaloo and bammy, a crisp cassava flatbread. You’ll discover that a champagne mimosa always sparkles harder when it’s made with fresh oranges.
After breakfast take in the beautiful surroundings with a bit of sightseeing while breathing in the crisp, and refreshing Blue Mountain air.
Activity 1: Bob Marley Museum
Duration: 1.5 Hours
Enter the Museum and allow us to envelop you with the sights and sounds of Bob, as you take a guided tour of this Jamaican Heritage site. Our friendly, charming and knowledgeable guides will escort you through the grounds, which include the Main House, Exhibition Hall, Theatre, Gift Shop and Café.
All the original rooms have been kept as they were when Bob lived here to ensure authenticity. The displays include a life size 3-dimensional hologram of Brother Bob from the One Love Peace Concert in 1978, his Grammy Lifetime Achievement award, his personal Recording Studio, his bedroom, favourite clothing, a vast array of Gold and Platinum Records received from all around the World, as well as the costumes of his back-up singers, the I-Threes.
Our air conditioned Theatre boasts modern state-of-the-art projection equipment, where live performances of Bob are highlighted to each guided tour, the “One Love Café” serves some of Bob’s favourite recipes and juices, and you will find a variety of Bob Marley souvenir items available at the Bob Marley Gift Shop.
Activity 2: Devon House
Duration: 2.5 Hours
Before taking the Tour of the Great House, enjoy a delicious lunch at Norma's on the Terrace.
However, the other homes were eventually demolished to make way for modern development ventures. Stiebel’s legacy lives on with the beautifully maintained Devon House, which was declared a national monument in 1990 by the Jamaica National Heritage Trust.
Many would be surprised to learn however that the early history of Devon House dates back to the mid seventeenth century when Britain captured Jamaica from Spain.
There is a sweet surprise for all guest at the end of the tour of the Mansion.

After your tour of the Great House, we encourage you to relax, take a swim in the pool at your hotel, you will be taken to the Emancipation Park after you have relaxed for a bit and have gotten a chance to refresh yourself. The Emancipation Park is a refuge for many who seek solitude and a soothing ambience away from the hustle and bustle of daily living. It's an oasis where one can rejuvenate among its lush seven-acre landscape that symbolizes the legendary beauty of the island of Jamaica. Nature lovers can bask in the Park's scenery lined with tropical flowers and trees such as the majestic Royal Palm, its branches stretching outwards beckoning to the skies. Art lovers can appreciate the beautifully crafted 11ft. bronze sculpture "Redemption Song" by celebrated Jamaican artist, Laura Facey that graces the ceremonial entrance of the Park. The opening of Emancipation Park in July 2002 is a significant milestone in the journey of our nation. The Park was created to be a symbol of our Freedom to Hope, to Excel and to Be.
Enjoy a Jamaican style jerk dinner at the Sweet-Wood Jerk centre located next to the Park.
Day 4: Small Island Paradise
Today it's all about you. Sleep in late with breakfast in bed, roam about the beautiful property and enjoy its facilities, laze around and bask in the "island vibes," or trek into the heart of New Kingston. The choice is yours! As the afternoon approaches, you will be swept away to your own "Small Island Paradise".
Fifteen minutes by boat from Port Royal is a small, low-lying island cay with one of the most beautiful beaches in Jamaica. The largest of the many small cays off the coast of Port Royal, Lime Cay is uninhabitable by humans because it is occasionally submerged when the tide comes in. Lime Cay has been the source of many scams and hoaxes whereby the cay is “sold” to unsuspecting buyers as a potential location for a private resort. Don’t be fooled, Lime Cay is a part of Jamaica, and the beaches there are public and open to all who can get out there.
Some of the best snorkeling on the south-east coast of Jamaica can be done around Lime Cay and don't forget to wave at passengers in Caribbean Airline's planes! Lime Cay is nearby the Norman Manley International Airport, so you can toast the low-flying aircrafts as they arrive or depart Jamaica.
You have the option of having lunch before going to the Cays or take it with you to enjoy in your Small Island Paradise.
Day 5: New Kingston to Norman Manley Int'l Airport
